First: Athletic Field

- Iraq champions from 1973 till 1977 in Triple jump and Decathlon.

-1974 I represented Iraq in the Seventh Asian games that was held in Tehran and I got the Fifth in Triple jump.

- 1975 represented the University of Baghdad in the world Universade Championship and got the sixth in Triple jump.

- In the same year I got the golden medal in Triple jump in the Arab Homeland Cap Championship that was held in Iraq.

-1977 I represented Iraq in the Arabic championship that was held in Damascus and the Arab Homeland Championship that was held in Al- Ryaad and got two golden medals in both Championships in the Decathlon.

- In 1979 I entered the international training course in Japan and got Excellent in it . The same year I joined another training course in Athletics supervised by the IAAF in Baghdad and I also got Excellent.

- In 1981 I Was appointed by the Iraqi federation for Athletics to train the National league in jumping and the players that I trained got golden medal for Iraq in Arabic championship in 1983 and 1985.

- 1992 I was assigned the president of the training Committee for the Iraqi Federation for Athletics.

-  In 1997 I was the Lecturer in the training courses and for all levels for the Iraqi Athletic federation.

-  I supervised the training of the Iraq champions that participated in the Olympics of Athena 1996 and World championship in Barcelona 1999 and in Adminton 2001.

-  I participated as a presidend of delegation in the World championship that was held in Adminton in Canada 2001.

-  I was elected as a vice president of the Iraqi. A.F. 2000 and as the president of the training Committee till 2002.

-  I was elected as first vice president of the Iraqi. A.F.  After the liberation of Iraq 2003.

-  I was nominated as the president of the Iraqi Delegation to participate in the Arabic championship that were held in Jordan in 2003 and it was Iraq s First participation in such championship after the liberation. I was the president of the Iraqi delegation in Asian championship that was held in Teheran in 2004.

 

Second: the Scientific Field

-  In 1977 I got the Bachelor degree in Physical Education in the college of Physical Education-University of Baghdad and I was the third of the first three students.

-  In 1987 I got my master degree in Biomechanics -sport training- averaged very good from the college of Physical Education-University of Baghdad.

-  In 1997 I got my Ph.D. from the college of Physical Education-University of Baghdad -Biomechanics- sport training.

-  Now I teach undergraduate studies Biomechanics and athletics. I also I teach post-graduate students (Master and Ph.D.) in the college of Physical Education-University of Baghdad, university of Bable, university of Slaimania, University of Koya and university of Diala since 1998 till now.

-  I’m a lecturer of Biomechanics for the students of medical Engineering –college of Engineering- since 1999 till 2002.

-  I supervised (30) desser tation and (40) thesis in the College of Physical Education-University of Baghdad, University OF Bessra, University of Babel, University of Slaimania, University of Koya and university of Diala and they all got excellent of very good.

-  Now I supervise (10) Ph.D. student’s (10) of which are original.

-  I wrote a book about athletics that is taught now in Colleges of Physical Education. I participated with my colleagues in translating the International law of athletics 2001. Now I have publications in Biomechanics, Athletics, Physical statistics. I have a certification from the National center for computers regarding computer science and motor analysis using computers.

-  I was the assistant of the dean in the post-graduate studies department of the college of Physical Education-University of Baghdad from 2003 till 2004.

-  Now I’m the councilor for the Minstar of youth and Iraqi Sports as well as my post as a professor.
